Every year, the country of Haiti is affected by several natural disasters. While some of them are more serious than others, we always find ourselves in need of basic supplies, such as drinking water, non-perishable food, hygiene supplies, shelter material, clothing, shoes, etc.  Historically, Haiti is reputed as one of the poorest countries in the hemisphere due to political corruption and lack of opportunity for education, adequate healthcare and employment.  FAIRE Garden Foundation has been a good Samaritan, just like the one spoken of by Jesus in Luke 10:25-37.  We are there not only when things are going well, but when the people need us the most. We intervene to provide relief from devastation following disaster, while providing spiritual, material and emotional support and comfort.
